Keep Believing

In the past, I refused to set goals for myself because I was afraid that I wouldn’t meet them.

Every weight loss goal, every money goal, every spiritual goal, I sabotaged.

I didn’t believe in myself enough to have my own back and keep my word to myself. What’s interesting is…nobody notices when you let yourself down but you notice and it slowly erodes your self-belief.

I decided to start keeping my word to myself as I would to anyone else and an interesting shift happened. I started to believe in myself more and I started to set goals and then I started hitting those goals. Crazy huh?!

This year, I set some big goals for myself and halfway through the year, I was not technically on track to meet some of them but I wasn’t concerned because I still had 6 months left. So much can happen in 6 months.

Now here we are in November, with two months left of the year and all of my goals (weight, relationship and spiritual) are on track to be hit by December 31st, except for one, my business goal.

My business goal is not even close to what I set out to achieve at the beginning of the year. It is the one goal that I’ve had the greatest challenge believing and it is also the goal that has taught me the most. My other goals, although challenging, have been much easier to believe and the goals that I’ve believed 100% are the goals that are absolutely happening. Funny how that works?!

Our minds are so amazing.

So even though it may look bleak, I am going to continue to believe that my business goal is possible until the very end because honestly, what do I have to lose? I would rather spend my time living in the excitement that anything is possible than living in the disappointment of defeat.

When the odds seem stacked against you, that’s when you need to believe the most.

Keep believing my friends. You’ve got this!
Blessings,
Angela
